Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress best known for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. Her first fame was her 1980s role in Tezaab and Tezaab, which she co-starred along with an established actor Anil Koopor. Next, she appeared with Aamir on Dil. As a young teenager in Mumbai's middle class she learned to dance. As a teen, she tried her hand at acting, however most of those early films were unsuccessful. Then she found her way to success and went on to be one of the top actresses in the Indian film business. Following her wedding ceremony, she took a short absence from acting until she returned. Dixit played an important role as a lead actress in Gulaab Gang, a film focused on women's struggles in India. Dixit was nominated fifteen times in the Filmfare Awards. She won eight of them. She was also honored with the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian award in India. In addition, she has been recognized for her work in the field of social work.
